A range of well-regarded mid-tier institutions, including Coventry University, Brunel University London, the University of Portsmouth, Kingston University, and Nottingham Trent University, commonly accept 6.0 overall for undergraduate entry, with no individual component below 5.5. Several of the institutions listed above also offer pre-sessional English programmes, which allow students with 5.5 overall to gain conditional entry and complete a structured language course before beginning their degree.
